Having two offices, we are reminded of communication, communication, and communication. Our Events Committee organizes several events during the year where our staff learn about each other and exchange ideas. Our Volunteer Committee plans two external events as well as multiple internal activities for our staff to participate in….the Spirit of Volunteerism takes place throughout the year.
Your first three months at the firm is critical. Our formal Buddy Program will get you introduced and plant roots. The sooner you are settled in, the sooner you can actively participate in the firm. Everyone wants to CONTRIBUTE and BRING VALUE to whatever they do.
MENTOR. LEARN. ACHIEVE is the motto for our Mentoring Program. Both our Mentors and Mentees are held accountable for the completion of each mentee’s goals.
Are you a natural leader? Our staff has many opportunities to show their leadership talents. Participation in our committees is on a volunteer basis, it provides opportunities for our staff to have a voice in activities and events at the firm. For example, our staff interview and identifies future leaders of the firm in the College Recruiting Committee. Another example, our Managers lead discussions on topics they invite feedback on at our semi-annual Management Meeting.
Your Supervisor will work with you once a year to create Goals that are tailored to your role in the Firm. Then you’ll meet with your Supervisor to check in on the Progress on your Goals four times per year. Everyone has a Balanced Scorecard at the firm.
