Thomas Keller Golf Classic
June 2-3, 2019

KROST attended the Thomas Keller Golf Classic on June 2nd and 3rd in Napa, California.

Thomas Keller’s culinary career is an inspiration to all Culinary Institute of America (CIA) students and he has served as a mentor to many of them. His passion for food and mentorship is matched only by his enthusiasm for golf. That is why we created the Thomas Keller Golf Classic to benefit the Culinary Institute of America by raising essential scholarship funds for CIA students.

The two-day event kicked off on Sunday night with a gala dinner and live auction at the CIA at Copia. The golf outing, held the next day at Silverado Resort and Spa, was in a scramble format with a shotgun start. Both venues are in beautiful Napa, CA.

Supporters had the opportunity to showcase products or sponsor a tasting table. Last year’s inaugural event was a tremendous success. Festive and fun—with a healthy dose of friendly competition thrown in—the two days raised over $500,000 in student scholarships!

Ctuit Software User Conference
KROST attended the Ctuit Software’s Annual User Conference, an invite-only event occurring on April 24-26 in Sonoma, California. There were over 100 restaurant industry leaders, representing over 2,200 restaurant locations for three days in Sonoma.

National Restaurant Association Show
KROST attended the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago on May 19-22. The NRA show is a mixture of exciting demonstrations, networking, sessions tools and gadgets, pertaining to all restaurant industries; food service technology, catering, bakery items, kitchen and restaurant tools, tableware, hospitality management, etc. It’s the biggest conference of the year consisting of 2000 exhibitors, 65,000 attendees with a total exhibit area of 52,00 sq. feet.

Los Angeles Chapter CRA Golf Tournament
KROST was one of the sponsors for the CRA Los Angeles Chapter Golf Tournament held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM. The event was hosted at Brookside Golf Course and all proceeds benefit "ProStart". The Foundation gives at-risk students an incentive to stay in school and build foodservice careers through high-quality industry-driven education and support. Franchise Times’ Annual Franchise Times Finance & Growth Conference
We attended the Franchise Times Finance & Growth Conference hosted at Encore, Las Vegas on March 13-15th. The conference is franchising’s premier franchise lending and dealmaker’s conference. Attendees were invited to meet with franchise lenders and investors throughout the conference and get an inside look at the growth plans of over 50+ successful franchise companies.
