KROST is one of the sponsors for the CRA Los Angeles Chapter Golf Tournament held on Tuesday, August 05, 2014 from 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM. The event will be hosted at Malibu Country Club and all proceeds benefit “ProStart”. The Foundation gives at-risk students an incentive to stay in school and build foodservice careers through high-quality industry-driven education, mentoring, life-skills training, scholarships, competitions and support.
ProStart was created by the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and exists at 100 high schools across California. Students enrolled in the program are well-equipped, motivated and empowered to pursue a college-level education, as well as guided to enter the workforce.
The tournament is an all-day event that includes Golf, contests/prizes, golf gift bags, continental breakfast & coffee truck, lunch, food & wine/beer festival, and a silent auction. Visit Calrest.org for more info:
