In May, our Business Management Principal, Jean Hagan joined Restaurants Care in their 86 My Hair campaign to raise money for restaurant workers impacted by the pandemic. Jean pledged to shave her head if we reached a goal of $25,000 in donations. We have raised $15,465 so far and hope to reach our goal soon.
The generous donations Restaurant Care has received have contributed to grants for nearly 1,100 restaurant workers and their families who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. These grants have covered food, housing, utilities, medical expenses, and other necessities. We appreciate the continued support and donations as restaurants adapt to restrictions with outdoor dining and limited capacity.
We would like to recognize and thank the following donors for their contributions:
Edith Morgan, Dawn Stewart, Jens Baake, Claudia Vargas, Charles Kagahastian, Kyle Johnson, Viren Patel, Rick Polisky, Joan McNamara, Karl Hutterer, Cynthia Elkins, Tri Tran, Derek Johnson, Cameron Melillo, Neal Sherman, Ken and Donna Bateman, Andi Sciacca, Lou and Wendy Guerrero, Dena Oberst, Adrian Ong, CJ Aberin, Eimy Zhangzheng, John Hagan, Alex Martin, Elizabeth Blau, Douglas Osrow, Nancy Spielberg, Andre de Montesquiou, Gillian Casazza, Cindy Comstock, Bernard Hagan, Myra Howard, Lisa Arangua, Cathy Jorin, Christopher Gaynor, Don Luis Camacho, Ernesto Mandowsky, Jason Melillo, Lee Melbourne-Weaver, Laura Diallo, Jerilynn Kacena, John Tallichet, Greg Kniss, Bethany Wolfe, and several generous anonymous contributors.
