Jean Hagan, Principal and leader of KROST’s restaurant practice, was featured on the SoCal Restaurant radio show hosted by Andy Harris on May 9th, 2020. 48,000 listeners and hundreds of live streamers tuned in as Jean discussed the future of dining out and provided sound advice on how restaurants should gradually prepare for the return of table service. Times are tough for this unprecedented time with assumptions that there will be varying city and state restrictions that will reduce the capacity of restaurants.

As the government plans for each city’s reopening, restaurants have to learn how to thrive in the new environment. The restaurant industry is a true indicator of the overall economy, consumer confidence, and disposable income figures. Unfortunately, the restaurant industry is not going to be anywhere close to where we left off in March, it’s going to be different for a long time or possibly change the industry forever. Jean provides many insights on the show that can help you and your restaurant during the uncertainty.

If you missed the segment, you can tune in to both parts on the SoCal Restaurant Show website and it’s available via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher:

Along with supporting the re-opening of restaurants, we are also doing a fundraiser to raise money in support of restaurant workers who have been severely impacted by the pandemic. Jean is teaming up with Restaurants Care to help those in need and volunteering to “86” her hair if we hit our donation goal.
