KROST is hosting a dynamic restaurant seminar, Restaurant Management: Protecting Your Business, on March 2nd, 2020 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM with guest speakers Corbin Wade of Hub International and Jesse Caryl of BCK Legal. The seminar will be followed by a cocktail reception sponsored by Hub International and BCK Legal from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our speakers will focus on areas where liability insurance, EPLI, workers comp, and the review of operations impact the overall control of a business. We’ll explore how having the right policies and practices in place can minimize exposure in these areas.
Derek Johnson, KROST CPAs, will review internal controls and reviews of operations to maintain ongoing best practices to avoid activity in the liability, work comp, and general operation areas of restaurants through a Restaurant Site Assessment.
Corbin Wade, HUB International, will review the various types of liability, EPLI, and work comp policies that are recommended in the restaurant space and provide examples of activities in restaurants. He will also go over what these types of policies cover, how the premiums are calculated, and how these policies protect the profitability of the business.
Jesse Caryl, BCK Legal, will review best practices when challenged by a liability claim, EPLI claim, or work comp claim. He will provide examples of what and how restauranteurs should respond to and process claims for the maximum advantage and quick resolution in these areas.
