The California Restaurant Association was established in 1906; thirteen years before the NRA was founded. The CRA was one of the first restaurant trade associations founded in the US. Through advocacy, education, and promotion, the CRA represents the interests of restaurant owners and operators here in the state. California has more restaurant and food service jobs than any other state; a full one-third of all California restaurants are located here in Los Angeles. Membership in the CRA gives restaurant operators its voice and representation for the industry. Member services include legal, training, sales tax, and tax assistance.

In addition, your membership helps support and promotes culinary educations in California.
